France ranks 11th in terms of the issuer market in Dubai, which received 38,000 tourists from France last year. The destination is actively preparing for this year’s Universal Expo.
This is a much higher attendance than the growth of all markets. In 2019, 38,000 French tourists visited Dubai, an increase of 10%, placing France on the edge of the top 10 of the main markets for the destination (11th). To maintain its attractiveness in our country, Dubai has notably entered into a partnership with the Michelin Guide, for the launch of the Week&go Michelin Green Guide dedicated to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In all markets, the increase was 5.1%, with 16.73 million international tourists. India, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom are the top three. Some markets are posting significant leaps. This is particularly the case for Oman, the destination’s 4th market, up 24%. The Philippines (23%) and Nigeria (+33%) also recorded double-digit increases. On the other hand, it deviates from Iran, which is down 10%.
