If the Covid-19 pandemic has angered several tourists stranded in Morocco, this Ladimarocaine, and especially a 5-star hotel in Agadir, the man does not seem in a hurry to return.
Hans-Georg Baldszun, a 67-year-old German pensioner, cannot believe it. He was given a double room and plenty of meals for the modest sum of 500 dirhams a night. In a statement to the German site Bild.de, the tourist, who spends a short stay in southern Morocco every year, admits to wanting to extend his vacation by a few weeks.
This time, things are different, he says. The only guest in a waterfront hotel with 450 rooms, Hans-Georg enjoys VIP treatment. "Lunch in front of the sea with several varieties of fish and salads and a bottle of white wine, as the world lives in crisis, an experience that I will not soon forget," he added.
"This year, I had the right to a dream vacation at an exceptional price," said the German tourist, who decided to invest his savings in discovering new exotic lands. Hans-Georg even trod the Moroccan sand, more precisely Dakhla, the lagoon of idleness and kitesurfing.
